In this Single Wing eBook I will have 4 or 5 base formations. One or two will bore more traditional SW formations and then a few of my own like the Hydra Beast Beta Blockers Single Wing. I will also adjust the Spinner SW to suit the Double Wing Speed formation we run in the Beast and Wildcat playbooks. As always the terminology will fit into my current standards so its easy to add this to any of my offensive playbooks and eBooks.

Single Wing Offense Formation

The traditional Pop Warner style Unbalanced Single Wing Formation. I will have about 25 traditional UBSW plays in the eBook. The terminology might not make the Single Wing purist happy but it fits into my play systems. I think you will enjoy it.

The Single Wing Spinner Formation is a great Single Wing formation series. We run a double Wing formation which uses a ton of Spin action. Pop Warner also developed the DW formation. There will also be about 25 SW Spin plays.

Coach Parker’s new Hydra Beast Formation with adjustable “Beta Blockers” is my take on the Single Wing Formation which combines my PIE / Cake / Fat formation adjustable Beta Blocker rules. I call this the Hydra Beast since it is a Beast single wing formation with many heads as the alpha Beta Blockers will move up and down the line of scrimmage ABCDEF gaps and into the backfield from Flat, Slant and Stacked. This formation will be fun. Plus its another Beast.

There will probably one more base formation in the Single Wing Offense eBook and I am trying to decide to go with a Single Wing Spread or another compacted power formation. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

Sing Wing Offense Plays

The Unbalanced Single Wing Wide Sweep is a great play in youth football. It was part of my Best 5 Single Wing Plays article. You can also see a video here. This Sweep play is a top youth football play for any pee wee football offense.

This Unbalanced Single Wing Spinner Play is a great power play up the middle. Once you have the SW sweep working or vice versa this play is an unstoppable youth football play. I love the Spin action both in the SW and DW. But with the Spin, you must practice the timing, especially when adding motion to any Spinner play.

Unbalanced Single Wing Beta Blockers Power Play is a new formation I am developing. It is a Single Wing with two adjustable Blocking backs which I call Beta Blockers. The Formation will be called Hydra Beast since this Beast has many heads as the BBs move around in the formation based on alignment calls or play sets or rules. This should be fun to develop. The BBs moving is not new to my offense as we use this in the PIE / Cake / Fat formations now.
