The biggest advantage with multiple formations in the Wildcat Multi Spread Offense is the play multiplier. Similar to the 2018 LA Rams, the playbook has about 24 base plays but when you run them in 4 or 5 formations you get 100 plays with similar assignments but a completely different look for the Defense.

Many of these formations in my Spread Offense Playbook for Youth Football are based on the original TCU and SMU Spread concepts. These are proven Spread formation and play concepts.  These formations have been run since the 1950’s with great success at all levels of football.

Proven Competitive Spread Formations and Spread Plays

Most of the plays in the Wildcat Multi Spread Offense eBook, a Spread Offense Playbook for Youth Football, either I have run in my offenses or they have been run successfully against my Defenses over the last 10 years.  I coach football in Texas in a highly competitive youth football tackle league in Keller, Texas just North of Fort Worth, TX.  This region is the heart of some of the best youth football in Texas.  We installed this playbook last season with a fairly new 10U team and almost made it to our Championship game. We can talk about play-off seeding another time.  We were the only team to score on the undefeated team that won the Championship game. The HC called me after the Championship game and said we were the best team he faced all season.  Ready for Fall 2019!!!
