Wing-T Offense Free Play; Learn the Delaware Wing-T Numbering
Today’s free youth football play is Wing-T Offense Play Spread 929 Trap Option. I drew up the play while I was learning the traditional Delaware Wing-T numbering system. Talk about complicated for youth football players. I understand the concepts now after about 4 hours of research but WOW.
I did get a ton of help from resources in the video below, but The Delaware Wing-T Running Game book by Raymond and Kempski was very helpful. They were two of the original coaches developing the Wing-T in the 50s. The play below if from their other book 101 Delaware Wing-T Plays. I think if you want to be a traditionalist these would be great books but I would use a different numbering system. Stay tuned for my Wing-T Formation Selected Youth Football Plays eBook coming out soon.
Wing-T Offense Play
If you are wondering about the numbering system, take a look at the video below. 929 above is the main play call for 1) “9” is formation 2) “2”is RB Action and 3) “9” is the point of attack area on the field for RB to run to. The offense does not really number RBs and Holes.

Below is another play example where I add up the 3 play digits to come up with a play and a tag suffix for a FB kickout block on the Defensive End.
