Beast Plays from a Scrimmage

This video has 10 Beast Plays from a scrimmage about 3 years ago with 11 and 12 year old team.  The video has several Beast Tank plays, three Beast pass plays, a Beast counter, Beast wedge and two Beast Sweep plays.  The video is actual scrimmage footage so you can hear coaches and see the formation up close to see how the Beast works.  I also narrate the film and make comments about how to improve the plays.

Check out the practice scrimmage video.  Good review for anyone looking to run the Beast formation and or just install the Beast Tank off-tackle play.

Diamond Formation Trig Running Plays

This free youth football coaching video reviews the Trig Diamond Formation Base Plays in the Power Wing Beast Youth Football Offense by Trig Offensive FormationCoach Parker. The Trig or Diamond formation is becoming more popular in pee wee football.

The Trig formation or Diamond formation is an inverted Wishbone formation with one Tailback and two Fullbacks. Basically you have two Offset I possibilities and shifts easily in and out of the Angl or Offset I formation also in the Power Wing Beast Offense.

I use the Trig formation for many Counter motion type plays that one might run with a split backfield and I also have quick hitting Dive plays and Power Sweeps with the Tailback.  This is also a great Double Pop Pass formation with a Screen outlet.  Check out the video and let me know what you think.

GOD Blocking Rules in Youth Football Offenses

This free youth football coaching video reviews GOD blocking rules in the Power Wing Beast Offense by Coach Parker. The GOD rule stands for inside gap, on and down. GOD rules are very simple rule progressions for pee wee football players to understand. Many little league tackle teams use GOD as their main blocking call in youth tackle leagues across the country.

In the free little league blocking coaching tip video, I also review a few GOD rules variants.

  1. GOLD – Gap – On – Linebacker – Down
  2. GODLi – Gap On – Down – Linebacker Inside
  3. Jaw – Inside Angle Track Block

I use all 4 GOD variants call in my offense to adjust offensive line blocking to the different defensive formation that we see during the season and in some games. All of my plays have 2 or 3 different blocking calls so we can adjust our blocking scheme during the game. Check out the video and let me know what you think.  Enjoy the free pee wee football blocking assignments video.

Swing Double Wing Offense Base Plays in the Power Wing Beast Offense Playbook

This free coaching video reviews the Swing Offensive Formation Package Base Plays in the Power Wing Beast Offense by Coach Parker. The Swing formation is based on the much loved Double Wing offense run by many pee wee football teams across the country in many Pop Warner like little league tackle football leagues. The Swing also has roots in the Spin, Single Wing, Spinner Series, Spread Jet and Toss offenses. And thanks to my fellow KYA Youth Football coaches that run some of these offenses; Coach Z and Coach Shawn.

The Swing Offensive formation is based on the Double Wing Offense and is similar to the Flex Bone Offense and Spin Offense.  I ran a Single / Double Wing  version of the Spin offense in Arvada Midget Football Assoc. with my oldest son and we had a blast coaching the offense.  The Swing Package is the culmination of about 10 years of experience coaching the offense, defending against similar Double Wing offenses and integrating it into the Multiple System with the Power Wing Beast Offense.
