Diamond Formation Trig Running Plays

|

This free youth football coaching video reviews the Trig Diamond Formation Base Plays in the Power Wing Beast Youth Football Offense by Trig Offensive FormationCoach Parker. The Trig or Diamond formation is becoming more popular in pee wee football.

The Trig formation or Diamond formation is an inverted Wishbone formation with one Tailback and two Fullbacks. Basically you have two Offset I possibilities and shifts easily in and out of the Angl or Offset I formation also in the Power Wing Beast Offense.

I use the Trig formation for many Counter motion type plays that one might run with a split backfield and I also have quick hitting Dive plays and Power Sweeps with the Tailback.  This is also a great Double Pop Pass formation with a Screen outlet.  Check out the video and let me know what you think.
